Where
Centennial Ice Arena offers on ice, and off ice training and shooting lane.
Practices
House league groups will have 2 practices per week. Depending on registration size per group will determine if the group splits the ice with another group.
Games
In house games will be arranged based on number of players. We may choose to do 3v3 or 4v4 depending on the number of registered players per group. Plan to have at least 9 games, one per week.
Jerseys
Through our partner, Pure Hockey, a player will purchase their jersey.
Families do have the option to purchase a customized jersey.
EXTRA COSTS
USA Hockey Membership Fee
BAHL Ambassador Fee $25 (optional)
Our goal with our house program is to eliminate extra costs. We have a youth scholarship fund for this reason. We do not want any of our athletes to not come due to cost. If you need assistance, please contact the Hockey Program Director.
USA Hockey ADM
The USA Hockey ADM model recommends having appropriate season lengths based on age. For 8U and under house programs, the recommendation is 5 months, but it is not mandated. Allowing local associations to decide what is best for their program and community.
The BAHL has decided to offer 3 separate sessions. While doing all 3 sessions would make the total season about 7 months, it is optional for families. No family is expected or in any way obligated to attend a specific number of these sessions. A family may choose what works for them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Question: Who is coaching each group? Is there a head coach?
Answer: Registration #s will determine the groups, practice times, and games. This will also determine the coaches and whether rotations or something is in order.
Question: Who and how is ice time being coordinated?
Answer: Centennial Ice Arena management will determine ice times based on the needs of all user groups.
Question: If interested in coaching, how do they sign up?
Answer: We have links to our coaching and manager applications on this page and others.
Question: What age groups are on ice together, and who practices with their own ice time?
Answer: All depends on registration numbers and how we will be able to divide up the ice... some age groups may practice with others. We may also, at times, have some house groups practice with travel to give them some exposure to "higher-level" hockey.
Question: Who are team managers? How do I sign up if interested?
Answer: As we get registrations done, we will confirm managers before the start of the season. If anyone is interested, they can fill out a manager application using the link above.
Question: Who will coach and ensure we don’t get burned out? Possibility of coordinating a rotation of coaches?
Answer: Along with head coaches for each age group, we will also recruit practice coaches and a Coach in Chief for LTP and House. We will also have Coaches in Chief and Hockey Program Director visiting to practices and offering skills development through the seasons to give coaches a break.
Question: Will house practice at the same time as 10U travel again?
Answer: No, we are planning to separate house and travel for most practices.
Question: Will 10/12U Girls have one practice a week again?
Answer: They will have at least one practice, yes, but not alone.
Question: Will 10/12U Girls practice with house co-ed for more ice time and possibly play with house if they go to scrimmages or tournaments?
Answer: They may, yes.
Question: Does House have tryouts? Does girls?
Answer: House teams, including 10/12U girls, do not have tryouts.
Question: Who is managing/coaching the Learn to Skate and Learn to Play?
Answer: The Hockey Program Director and Coaches in Chief, with coaches and instructors from LTS and LTP.
Question: How will we determine when kids are ready to move from LTS and LTP to the house program?
Answer: The Hockey Program Director and Coaches in Chief will work with LTS instructors and LTP coaches to monitor the progress of skaters and determine when and how skaters may move from LTS to LTP to House.
